About us

Basima’s Kitchen was born out of love: love of family, love of culture, and love of great food. We are two sisters who set out to fulfil our grandmother Basima’s lifelong dream of opening a restaurant. Basima was always at her happiest when feeding her loved ones her delicious food. Through Basima’s recipes we endeavour to recreate and bring to life the joy, passion and love she brought to everyone around her.


What’s cooking?

Basima’s life journey took her from Haifa, Palestine, where she was born, through to Lebanon and then to Saudi Arabia, where she eventually settled and raised her family. These cross-cultural influences gave her already irresistible cooking a unique touch.

What we do

Alia is head chef and culinary curator of Basima’s Kitchen, driving forward the vision that was born out of our grandmother’s passion for sharing and caring when it comes to food.

Sara handles vital support tasks for the kitchen such as client management, accounting, web development and sous cheffing.
